Last night I stumbled upon Nice Cream in Venice, where they make gelato with organic milk and sorbet with locally grown, fresh fruit.
The Salted Caramel delighted me and the Pistachio and Hazelnut scoops brought me back to my days as a student in Italy.
Overall, these freshly made batches of gelato have a clean and crisp taste. While they're deliciously smooth, they're not overwhelmingly rich or sweet. A perfect summer treat!
