Just FYI: Ice cream is my all-time favorite dessert, my Kryptonite, if you will. I enjoyed it frequently as a kid, daily in high school, and by college, had worked myself up to a pint a night. The pint factor was thanks to my college's proximity to the Ben and Jerry's factory. This location made pints of B and J's as common on campus as the leaves on the trees. I eventually had to ban myself from buying pints altogether.
But here I am, ordering ice-cream, and feeling like a college kid again as I enjoy every aspect of my ice-cream experience from the hard frozen bites, to the soft melting spoonfuls, to all the fresh cookie chunkiness in between. Lord it's hard to stop eating this! The pint is that wicked in between size where, really, it's too big for one person, but not so big that you'd put it back in the freezer and save for a friend or another time.
2/3rds done.. throwing it in the trash!
Yikes, I can't do that again! I feel revved up, like I'm locked and loaded, ready pull an all-nighter on a term paper that's due in 10 hours!! Woo! Ok, Ok, must calm down. Caaaaaaalm down.
The ice-cream? Yes, yes, the Mint Chocolate Cookie ice-cream by Ben and Jerry's is fantastic. I appreciate that it's not artificially green and that the generous cookie chunks taste fresh and delicious. 5-Cherrys for Ben and Jerry's Mint Chocolate Cookie!
