Do Not Eat 3 Hours Before Bed
Hi all! Today's Thinny Thursday Tip is brought to you by my vanity. Well, that's at least how I discovered this tip. As an actress it's important to wake up bright eyed and bushy tailed for early morning call times. Problem is, I'm not a morning person!
Eating late at night always resulted in a full tummy, restless sleep, weird dreams, and horror or all horrors, puffy eyes in the morning. For important occasions, I started cutting myself off from eating a few hours before bed to mitigate any tired eyes the next morning. In addition to looking much better, I discovered that I felt lighter and more vibrant over all. I also developed an ability to eat breakfast, something I had never really done my whole life prior (other than a Luna bar or something light).
I then caught an episode of Oprah in which she talked about not eating hours before bed.. well now I knew I was doing the right thing! God herself even said so. So there you go, cut yourself off a few hours before bed. Even if you lie in bed hungry the first night, you can dream about waking up to a hearty bowl of delicious Irish oatmeal full of goodies like fruit, almonds, cinnamon etc, and then you'll be on your way to start a healthy, fabulous day!
