Right when I’d written off Cake Pops for not being All That, a coffee chain flipped me back around, froze me in my tracks, and actually, made my jaw drop. WHA?? Wow- Really?
You guys, I’ve had many, many Cake Pops before. I’ve made Cake Pops (see here), and I can tell you, it’s NO easy feat to make Good ones, let alone GREAT ones. The Tiramisu (far right) was my fave my far. The Rocky Road (left) was great, and the Birthday Cake (center) was solid.
Perhaps my expectations were low, but my eyes literally widened with surprised delight as my teeth sunk into the moist, fudgy-cake insides of these pops.
YUM! And at 175 calories each, they’re surely way less caloric than my other indulges (as a policy, I don’t look at nutrition facts, but Starbucks posts them for all to see).
THUMBS UP and 5 Cherries all around. I’ll surely be back for more.~
Stay tuned for my review on Starbucks’ other mini sweet treats next week!
XOXO

Being the Starbucks diehard over here ( I have been known to hit up Starbucks worldwide including at the Louvre museum) I am thrilled to hear you LOVE these Cake pops! I can’t wait to try them!
I wasn’t interested in trying these until after your glowing review, i’ll have to do my own taste test 🙂 Thx DD!
I still don’t get the concept of a cake pop!!! I’m in denial that they even exist.
BUT, this glowing review might force me to have to try one of these. I’m terrified!!
