You might have just seen my favorable review here for Vanilla Bake Shop’s delicious cupcakes, but I have to say, their cake pops are a pass. The chocolate shell, especially the white chocolate, leaves very little to be desired, and the frosted cake filling just doesn’t enthuse me. I’m learning more and more that the perfect cake pop is quite tricky to pull off! But hey, at least they look chic and appetizing!

i’ve tried making superman and owl cake pops before and boy oh boy, never again. they were so tedious to make, just not my kinda thing. these look awesome, too bad they didn’t taste the same as they looked.
I find it very sad when food looks pretty and isn’t tasty. Give me a delicious, malformed cake ball any day!
