Tomorrow’s the big day for stuffing yourself silly! If you don’t have time to bake a pie or just want to make sure you have one that’s actually worth the weight, then I suggest:

PUMPKIN PIE:

DO: fresh Pumpkin Pie from the Whole Foods bakery. The one on Fairfax & 3rd was quite divine (see review here).

DON’T: get Fabes (review here) or Trader Joe’s (review here). Both are Serious let-downs.

 

APPLE PIE:

DO: Bubby’s Apple Whiskey Pie in NY (review here), Apple Pie from the Tootie Pie Co. in Texas (review here), Apple Pan’s Apple Pie if you’re in LA (review here), or my favorite, Apple Pie from Swinger’s Diner (review here).

Pecan Pie:

While I’ve never had it myself, my friend Lynn from The Actors Diet swears by this Chocolate Pecan Pie that she got at Whole Foods (her post here). Photo below by Lynn Chen.
