I’ve had La Maison and John Kelly before, both are excellent. I had the John Kelly fudge bites and to me, they seemed more like “candy” than “chocolate,” though I still enjoyed them and was impressed by the quality of the sea salt, which added a nice contrast to the very sweet interior.
La Maison, of course, is truly chocolate. Serious chocolate. I keep trying to replicate their mousse-filled chocolates at home. No success yet.
Oh looove Chocolatique! I sampled them at the Chocolate Salon last year and fell in love with their root beer flavor – so delightful!

Obviously I have had all of these. The K Chocolatier pomegranate pieces and the La Maison whipped chocolate mousse pieces are the best of the best.

LOVE the Kron Chocolates. If you haven’t had the pleasure, you must go speak with Diane. The story about the company is incredible. Her late husband’s family were chocolatiers to the Hapsburg emperors and many of her recipes have been passed down through the family. Sort of amazing. Anyway, love your blog and ingredient values.
