Oh Little Next Door, look how pretty your St. Honoré dessert is with your iridescent fuschia glaze and sweet little flowers. And yet, you underwhelm me again. While I enjoyed the flavor of your Black Current cream puffs, both the cream and the pastry were too thick and dense. I’d prefer a lighter fluff to my cream and a nimble flake to my crust. Alas, I shall round you up a half cherry for the overall prettiness and the great company with whom I enjoyed my Little Next Door stay. While your desserts tend to be sub-par, your savory food always delights! So not all is lost~

last time I had a pastry there I thought it was a few days old… did not taste fresh… but my coffee was delish!
