The Ekmek Kantaifi, or “Shredded Filo topped with vanilla custard and Fresh Whipped Cream drizzled with chocolate” was a creamy, dreamy, sweet success! I only meant to try a few bites of this dessert at Ulysses Voyage Greek restaurant and ended up inhaling every last morsel. Unlike heavy, dense, and eggy custards (also yummy in their own right) this rendition was whipped up into a pillowy, weightless cloud. And while I loved its lightness of being, the custard did remind me of a Jello Pudding cup. Additionally, the chocolate drizzle clearly came from a Hershey squirt bottle (never a good thing). Otherwise, I would definitely recommend this Ekmek Kantaifi!
